Our land use departments oversee the development of the town as recommended by our master plan. Through site review, subdivision, zoning and building codes, these departments regulate development while enhancing town and school services, and recreational and conservation opportunities. During times of inclement weather, the Planning Board will make every effort to hold their Public Hearings on the posted day and time. Should inclement weather, power outages or other adverse conditions exist that would prevent a meeting or Public Hearing from being held, this information will be conveyed to the local paper, radio station WOKQ, the Town's website [barring a power outage], and on the Town's telephone system [barring a power outage].
