Attention: Swains Lake Draw down is scheduled to begin Monday October 13,2025.

To all the users of Swains Lake:

The Town of Barrington is scheduling the annual fall drawdown of Swains Lake to begin Monday October 13,2025.  Given the already low level of the lake, the process should proceed fairly quickly.  Boaters are advised to monitor the situation closely to assure that they have adequate depth to pull their boats out.   The objective is to end up with the normal 30 inch drawdown below the dam spillway.
